Meet the Team: Cale Mercer, Survey Service Manager

Next in our “Meet the Team” series, we had a chat with our Survey Service Manager, Cale Mercer, to gain some insight into his role and daily responsibilities. 

What is your role at Optimus? 

Survey Service Manager.

What does a normal day at work look like for you? 

A normal day for me is all about supporting the service team with any queries and escalations, and keeping things running smoothly for both my team and our clients. I also spend time collaborating with different teams and reviewing our service metrics to find ways of improving how we work.

What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about surveys? 

Although a survey is not a legal requirement when purchasing a property in England and Wales, it is so important to know exactly what you are investing in – and any costly repairs you may be inheriting from that purchase.

What’s your favourite way to start your day? 

The best way to start the day is with a large coffee listening to the Wicked Movie soundtrack!
