Buying a new home is the biggest financial transaction most of us will ever undertake. When making an offer on a new property, your mortgage lender will instruct a Mortgage Valuation to confirm the property’s value and whether the mortgage for the property will be secure. The Mortgage Valuation is for the lenders benefit and does not provide any details regarding the condition of the property; you may not even get to see a copy of this report or talk with the surveyor.
