Our service queen, wins our October star award

Lauren has been one of our rocks in service over the past 18 months, heading up our biggest service team during an unprecedented period – she’s quite simply a star. Lauren became a service team leader in April 2021 and has since flourished in her role; managing her growing team, consistently delivering our service processes and rolling up her sleeves to help customers in need of answers. She does all this daily with a smile and a ‘let’s crack on!’ attitude which is the reason why she’s been voted as the October star performer by many of her colleagues.

Our monthly star performer awards are set up for members of the team to acknowledge the great work of their other team members.

How it works?
Every team member gets one vote, each month, for someone in the Optimus team who they feel has demonstrated our unique ethos;

we care about customers, we solve problems, we get good outcomes, we think differently to move forward, we have good ideas and put them into action, we work together as a team, we go the extra mile when we need to, everyone has a voice when it comes to making things better.

About Lauren

Lauren joined Optimus just weeks before the pandemic hit, in February 2020, as a service consultant. Lauren was recommended by a colleague to join the team and came with years of experience as a sales progressor in Estate Agency. Lauren was quickly able to put her knowledge to good use on the YOPA service team and progressed to Service Manager, before taking on the task of leading our biggest service team back in April 2021. The things we love about Lauren is that she’s always willing to listen and comes to the table with her own ideas about how to improve the way we do things.

She’s part of the foundations of our team and her positive attitude, attention to detail and commitment to getting a good customer outcome is the reason she’s won the award this month.
